Bert Haines is a natural leader who loves all aspects of teamwork and understands the pivotal importance this holds in our venues. His passion lies in team development and ensuring that every person that commits to joining Future Hospitality Group leaves better than when they started. No matter the length of service.
Born and bred Kiwi with an intrepid thirst for travel and great cocktails! If you can’t find her up the mountain snowboarding, she is most likely at Margo’s ensuring everyone get’s their Mexican culinary fix.
Originally from England, Lois moved to New Zealand in 2019, seeking adventure and new experiences. With a passion for making people smile, Lois brings a unique blend of humour, energy and friendliness to the ice bar.
Hailing from Canada, Stef arrived just as the pandemic did and has loved Queenstown ever since! Her passion for delivering exceptional service and epic drinks shines through every day at Little Blackwood.
The life of the party from Chile. With a business degree in his back pocket and a mischievous twinkle in his eye, Emi’s positive energy and infectious personality is guaranteed to brighten up any room he walks into.

With almost 20 years experience in the kitchen, Matt learned Mexican cooking from the best. From growing up with strong Latin American roots in Indianapolis before heading to culinary school in Chicago, and cooking widely in Mexico.
Stu came to Queenstown in 2019 for a snowboarding season and never left. After working in bars around the world he settled in at Little Blackwood, Margo’s and now Little Mez, where he shares his passion of and all things tequila and Mezcal. His favourite drink is a Mezcal Tommy’s.
